MANILA – Cebu Pacific (CEB) marked a major milestone on December 11 as it flew its 250 millionth passenger, celebrating the occasion with a generous reward.
Russel Capaniarihan, an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) based in Singapore, was named the lucky passenger upon her arrival in Manila. She received PHP 250,000 in cash and 25 free round-trip flights to any of Cebu Pacific’s domestic and international destinations.
“This milestone is a reflection of the trust and loyalty of every Juan who chooses to fly with us,” said CEB President Xander Lao during the welcoming ceremony at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). “It represents millions of stories, reunions, and moments shared over the years.”
Capaniarihan was aboard Cebu Pacific’s flight 5J 814 from Singapore to Manila and was en route to Bacolod to celebrate the holidays with her family—her first time home in 11 years.
To build excitement, Cebu Pacific had set up a milestone photo wall at Singapore's Changi
Airport for flight 5J 814 passengers. Festivities continued during the Manila-bound flight, where travelers enjoyed in-flight games and won round-trip tickets to Cebu Pacific destinations.
Upon arriving in Bacolod, Capaniarihan received an additional warm welcome from local representatives, capping off a momentous journey for both her and Cebu Pacific.
