Chops To Go, that tasty, crispy chicken chops made from coated and deep-fried chicken breast fillet, opened its newest branch south of Manila that will cater to fans of its famed crispy chicken in the areas of Parañaque and Bicutan.
Located at the Foodcourt of SM Bicutan, the new outlet is the 5th member of the growing Chops To Go family and is owned by Troy Rosario and wife Michelle, the couple’s first business venture. Troy is a popular basketball player who plays for the Talk ‘N Text team in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) and is a member of the Gilas Pilipinas team that won the gold medal for the Philippine Men’s Basketball team at the recently-concluded 30th Southeast Asian Games.
Other Chops To Go branches include the One Torre de Santo Tomas near UST along España in Manila, near the MRT Boni Station along EDSA (beside the 7-11 store at the foot of the southbound stairs of Boni MRT Station), SM Megamall and at SM Manila.
According to Ms. Joyce Co Yu, franchisor of Chops To Go, who is also the owner of the popular milk tea brand True Blends and past president of the Association of Filipino Franchisers, Inc. (AFFI), said with the success of Chops To Go, they are also looking at opening more stores by January next year.
"We believe it’s time for us to go north of Manila this time to cater to areas where many are clamoring for us to open Chops To Go stores there,” said Ms. Yu, who co-owns Chops To Go with business partner Homer So. She intimated that the next stores they will open will all be in Quezon City.
Chops To Go started as part of the menu of True Blends Tea and Coffee, located near the National University in Manila that was an instant hit among students and faculty of said university.
