He also introduced us to the delightful MATA Tofu Pudding, a sweet and delicious nod to Filipino tastes, reminiscent of our very own “taho” dessert.
We also witnessed the spirited performance of the Alishan Tsou Tribe’s youth dance troupe, Dancing Piepiya of Forest, showcasing indigenous rhythms and vibrant energy. They also sang some tribal songs —a harmonious blending of voices from both men and women of the group.
The event promises even more excitement as actress and model Gabbi Garcia and her partner Khalil Ramos share their unforgettable adventures across Taiwan—from Kaohsiung’s dynamic art scene to Taipei’s Michelin-starred culinary treasures. The Poor Traveler, a renowned Filipino YouTuber, will dish out practical tips for independent travel, while influencer Xzar Lim takes us on a virtual ride through Taiwan’s scenic mountain and coastal cycling routes.
Taiwan is Calling
Taiwan’s charm is increasingly capturing the hearts of Filipino travelers and tourists alike. To further strengthen this growing bond, two tourism workshops will be held in Manila and Clark on February 10 and 11, connecting travel agents, airlines, and media representatives.
