As the Philippines’ first visual arts fair, ManilART is gearing up once more to demonstrate the world-class talent, skill, and vision of Filipino artists at SMX Aura, Taguig City from October 9 to 13.

ManilART is a flagship project of the National Committee on Art Galleries (NCAG) of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA). This five-day event will once again fall in October, in celebration of Museums and Galleries Month as per Presidential Proclamation No. 798.

This year, the theme “Showcasing the Global Filipino Artist” will encompass the wide range of creative power the country has to offer. The nation’s diverse art practitioners, exhibitors, and supporters will contribute to the ever-growing tapestry that is the Filipino identity, furthering the significance and responsibility of visual arts in today’s socio-political landscape.

The VIP Lounge will feature Susanito Sarnate (Negros Occidental) and Anthony Palomo (Batangas), to present visual commentaries on the modern diaspora as well as other contemporary social issues, dreams, and narratives of Filipinos both here and abroad.

ManilART will have its invitational opening on October 9 and will run October 10 to 13 for the public at the SMX Convention Center, 3/L SM Aura Premier, Taguig City. For more information contact +63 977 807 3369, or email manilartsecretariat@gmail.com.
