Another restaurant concept, where good food and service complements the great outdoor view, opens at Club Balai Isabel in Talisay, Batangas on Saturday.
This new food outlet, called The Pier Lakeside Bar and Restaurant is located at the property’s lake side and offers a million dollar view of the picturesque Tall Volcano.
It will be operated and manned by a team of industry experts in hotel and restaurant management (each boasting some 15 plus years in experience), topbilled by Jona Agrazada – a reputable name in the hotel industry.
A welcome alternative to the crowded Tagaytay City, this new establishment “is the property’s response to guests clamoring for that perfect combination of relaxing outdoor, cold beverages, hot and fresh from the grill food and good service,” said Agrazada.
Its rustic yet cool setting sends out merely chill vibes and shuns any air of intimidation, allowing guests to just enjoy some peace and quiet – “either for that needed me time or some intimate bonding with family or friends,” adds Agrazada.
As the mere mention of the pier or pantalan brings to mind mouth watering seafood finds, The Pier will offer mostly seafoods, “fresh and straight from the seafoods capital of Roxas City, Agrazada added.
From starters, ensaladas (salads), main entrees, grilled food, soup to desserts - including its alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage listings, the carefully crafted menu complements one of Club Balai Isabel’s positioning targets – a preferred dining venue with great, satisfying and reasonably priced food choices.
But, Agrazada clarifies that aside from seafoods, there are also meat options, some fruits and greens, even a menu for kids.
Open everyday, from 10:00AM to 10:00PM, its opening promo is “Oyster Day” every Saturday - where guests will be treated to free talaba (oyster) platters. This promo is good until supply lasts.
The venue, which could accommodate upto 150 pax, also provides a perfect setting for banquets and socials, if clients prefer to go away with the usual function room, formal set up. They can customize menu packages for special occasions.
Seen at Saturday’s opening are Talisay (Batangas) Mayor Nestor Natanauan, Club Balai Isabel owners – spouses Nelson and Cecile Terible, with daughter Christine ‘Tin’ Terible-Sarmiento, the Pier Management Team: Bong and Jonalyn Agrazada, with Kiel Cabusao and Arianne Laranao, with Club Balai Isabel’s management team.
