Travel industry leaders are set to gather for a spectacular evening as the Network of Independent Travel and Allied Services, Inc. (NITAS) and the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) host their much-anticipated Christmas party on December 2, 2024, at The Heritage Hotel Manila. Titled “PATA and NITAS Sizzle this Christmas Party”.
Adding flair to the festivities is a special 15-minute Kimono Show by the award-winning Mrs. Tourism Ambassador International 2020 – Japan, Ms. Myla Villagonzalo Tsutaichi. A proud native of Baliuag, Bulacan, Tsutaichi has carved a niche for herself as a massage therapist, Kimono teacher, and philanthropist in Japan, where she resides with her family.
Tsutaichi’s journey is one of passion and excellence. After completing her studies in therapeutic massage at the Ampai Institute in Chiang Mai, Thailand, she established a health and beauty massage service in Japan. Her dedication to Japanese culture led her to pursue three years of Kimono training at the Hakubi Kyoto Kimono School, earning her an international license as a Professional Kimono Teacher in 2016—the first Filipino to receive this prestigious distinction.
Recognized globally, Tsutaichi has been honored as the World Class Outstanding Kimono Teacher in Fukuoka, Japan, and Most Outstanding Kimono Teacher at the Gawad America Awards in California, USA. Beyond her professional achievements, she is the founder and chairman of the Kimono Global Friendship Organization, which promotes Japanese culture while supporting orphans and elderly communities in both Japan and the Philippines.
The PATA and NITAS Christmas Party promises an evening of celebration, cultural enrichment, and goodwill—an event that embodies the spirit of collaboration and holiday festivity within the travel industry.
