Cebu City, Philippines – After the successful participation at the 11th Travel Madness Expo (TME) 2024 in Manila, the Taiwan Tourism Administration, and Taiwan Visitors Association flew together to the Queen City of the South to host Taiwan Tourism Workshops at Radisson Blu Cebu last 16 July 2024.

 

Carrying Taiwan’s newest tourism slogan “Waves of Wonder”, TECO’s acting director for Press Division Ms. Sopfia P. F. Chi, and Taiwan Tourism Administration - Bangkok Office director Ms. Cindy Chen welcome its guests and partners to an interesting and fruitful discussion. Airline partners were also given time to share their latest services and promos, which added excitement to its Cebuano guests.

 

Taiwan’s “Waves of Wonder” highlights the wave-like element in its designs that signifies seasonal travel in Taiwan. This latest initiative was also supported by a short film and promotional song that shares more reasons to visit Taiwan.

 

The Taiwan government recently announced the extension of its visa-free program for Filipino travelers for another year until July 2025. This program is set to further boost cultural ties between the Philippines and Taiwan and invite more Filipinos to experience the amazing tourist offerings of Taiwan.
