The Thanksgiving dinner recently hosted by Tourism Promotion Board Philippines COO Marga Nograles at Casa Buenas Restaurant, Hotel Okura, Resorts World Manila was a lavish and gratitude-filled affair, marking the success of the launch of the Travel Philippines app last year. The event brought together pillars from the tourism industry, creating a celebratory atmosphere.
The choice of the Spanish Filipino restaurant added a cultural touch to the evening, complemented by an opulent 5-course meal featuring a delightful culinary journey. Dishes like Citrus Cured Salmon Tostada, El Pollo Frito, Pansit Luglug, Beef Caldereta, and Mango Emperador Strudel showcased the rich and diverse flavors of the Philippines.
COO Marga Nograles' enthusiasm was palpable as she encouraged guests to share their experiences with the Travel Philippines app. The app, described as a revolutionary tool, promises a seamless exploration of the country with features ranging from travel news to location-specific guidelines.
Nograles emphasized that the Travel Philippines app goes beyond being just a digital platform; it serves as a gateway to a more convenient, immersive, and culturally rich travel experience. The app's capabilities including journey planning, exclusive deals, and digital document management accompanied by real-time chat support aim to enhance the overall travel experience.
Expressing gratitude for the attendees, Nograles assured them that this event was just the beginning of more to come. She also unveiled plans for the Enhanced Travel to the Philippines app, positioning it as the initial step in their digitalization journey. Seeking input from government and industry experts, the event facilitated collaboration through strategically placed QR codes for feedback.
As the event concluded, Nograles thanked attendees for their commitment to openness and collaboration. The sincere note of appreciation to everyone for their enthusiastic participation highlighted the significance of the Thanksgiving celebration. Overall, the evening reflected not only a celebration of success but also a promising glimpse into the future plans for the Travel Philippines app and its role in shaping the future of travel in the country.
